My name is Molly Walton and I am the founder of the Palmetto Soap Co. I am the owner and operator as well as the primary soap maker. I have studied aromatherapy and holistic medicine as a hobby for many years, which became the foundation for the formulations in our handmade shea butter soaps. I also studied therapeutic recreation and managed a spa and wellness center in North Carolina, increasing my management, communication skills and overall experience necessary to grow a successful business. And they're naturally high in glycerin. Every batch is poured, cut and packaged by hand.

Palmetto Soap Co.'s manufacturing operation is located in a small office/warehouse facility on C. Trotter Road, in West Columbia, South Carolina. The manufacturing operation occupies approximately 800 square feet. The major raw materials used in the operation include exotic vegetable oils, distilled water, sodium hydroxide, herbs, natural clay colorants, and essential oils.

Essential oils are natural substances that are extracted, traditionally through steam distillation, from grasses, flowers, herbs, trees, shrubs, resins, and spices.
